Hi Omarion-7017,
Bing Maps feedback takes a few months turn around time as it takes the following steps:
- Reporting to the data provider - Bing Maps is created from a blend of sources, including Tomtom as our base map provider so I will use them as a sample.
- Tomtom then does ground truth validation for the data issue. If ground truth is found, they will provide Bing Maps new data on the next monthly drop, if ground truth is not found, there will be no update.
- When Bing Maps receives a data update it must be stitched in to the larger map which requires a validation step.
- Finally updated data is published and the change, if proven by ground truth, will appear on the Bing map.
Often we find the issue is not the maps data at all but rather a Business has set up a bad address or other detail. Those need to be addressed by the Business owner with BingPlaces.com and are not actually a Map issue. See Bing Places Help
Lastly we do offer Azure Maps as a direct feedback to Tomtom. You can report your issue through https://feedback.azuremaps.com/
In summary, Feedback is working but it is not a fast process or invalid data could be easily added to the map.
Sincerely, IoTGirl
