As I see you added the tag "office-onedrive-client-itpro", do you sync files to OneDrive?
If so, where did you open this document from? Such as local OneDrive sync folder.
Does this issue occur with all files stored on cloud?
- If just one document could not be opened correctly, please share us this file format, and go to OneDrive online open this document for a test.
You may also download it to other folder on your local computer. - If all documents could not be opened, but opened correctly online, it's best to reset OneDrive.
