Hello,

I am working off of https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/customers/tutorial-web-app-dotnet-sign-in-sign-out#sign-in-to-the-application.

I am on step 4 and I am getting the following:

I am not entirely sure what I should be doing since I am trying to learn the tech the first time. Please help!

    Check your password. This has to do with special characters in the password.

    Open and incognito browser and test to see if password is correct then use the same for the process.

    You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    @Givary-MSFT I have an answer that "makes sense" but is it possible to open a ticket to have the issue addressed by the team?

    For some reason the password

    3++4',ew<aPz

    Isn't being accepted even though it seems to conform to the guidelines in the docs here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/concept-sspr-policy#microsoft-entra-password-policies. It's probably something so random.

    But I wish the errors were slightly better so they could pinpoint where the exact issue is. Is there a way to unwrap the error code to tell me what the MS validation engine thinks is wrong? Sure for my benefit as I am troubleshooting, but also for the user for when things go live?
