Hi,

I enabled 'free trial' on Azure yesterday and provisioned 'energy data manager' (from market place) service for learning purpose. Despite the 'free trial', it allows me to provision and now showing a bill of USD 737.50. I immediately terminated the service. Do I need to pay this amount as my expectation was services allows during free trial are free.

thanks

Pradeepa

    Hi @Pradeepa ,

the Azure Data Manager for Energy in the Azure Marketplace is not listed as a free service here:

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/purchase-options/azure-account?icid=azurefreeaccount#free-services

In the FAQ of Azure free services you will find this information related to Azure Marketplace services:

This might be the reason why you are charged for using this service.

it might be an option to open a support case with Microsoft Azure support for clarification.

Azure Billing and Subscription support is offered by Microsoft by no cost and it's for free.
