Block the ability to change default download location in Edge

Hello,

I am trying to find a policy which will block the ability to allow users to change their default downloads location. Currently users can change this from their Downloads folder to the Desktop, for example.

I've been searching through the edge policies from the Administrative Templates in Intune but I can't seem to find a setting to block this.

Any help would be awesome!

From your description, I know you want to block the ability to change default download location in Edge.

Based on my research, we can create a policy with the setting "Set Download Directory" mentioned by @Guido, with this setting, we can Configures the directory to use when downloading files and Microsoft Edge uses the provided directory regardless of whether the user has specified one or chosen to be prompted for download location every time.

Hi Dean,

Did you see this policy "Set Download Directory"
You can find it in the user Configuration / Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Edge - default settings
