Hi!

I am on process of learning C#, .Net, and Xamarin. Upon setting up Visual Studio, I noticed a notification saying "You can get a greatly improved Android Emulator experience by enabling Hyper-V".

Things, I'd done before installing Visual Studio.

Enable virtualization in BIOS
Enable Hyper-V and Windows Hypervisor Platform on Windows Features
When I ran "systeminfo" on Command Prompt, it tells me that "A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed".

My system setup

Ryzen 5 2600
MSI B450m Pro-VDH
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 1650

Is my system fits the necessary requirements to start learning C#, .Net, Xamarin? Hoping for a fix :)

    Hi @Jojo Barria ,

Thank you for reporting it in Microsoft Q&A.

    What is your Operating System?
Currently, the Hyper-V is available in the following 64-bit version of Windows 10:

    • Windows 10 Enterprise
    • Windows 10 Pro
    • Windows 10 Education

Please check if your system is compatible for Hyper-V. For more details, please refer to: Windows 10 Hyper-V System Requirements.

    Sincerely,
    Anna
