Android virtualization on Windows 11 Family OS

I’m trying to get virtualization working to install Android apps on Windows. Virtualization is rejected for Bluestacks and for Nox.

Yet I have:

  1. checked that in my PC BIOS ( HP ) the Virtualization Technology option was enabled ( updated BIOS )
  2. selected, in Windows Features, the Virtual Machine Platform option
  3. restarted after checking the correct positioning of these options

I checked if it works using the Leomoon CPU-V software. This one returns that CPU architecture is OK and OS architecture is NOK, specifying three things:

  • Data execution Prevention ( DEP ) marked OK in green
  • Second Level Address Translation ( SLAT ) marked NOK in red
  • VM Monitor Mode Extensions also marked NOK in red.

Is there any incompatibility of my version of the OS ( Family/ v23H2 )with virtualization?

Is there anything else to do?

    Hi Roland,

Thanks for your post. Please check the following settings and try to virtualization to Android again.

    • Checked that virtualization enabled in BIOS (called SVM on Asus X470-f motherboard)
    • Task Manager says that virtualization is enabled
    • Disabled Hyper-V
    • Turn off VT (SVM) in BIOS, restart, full turn off, enable VT (SVM) again
    • Updated chipset driver to last version
    • Updated BIOS to last version
    • Windows Defender- you may need to disable Memory Integrity under the Core Isolation section as it also uses hypervisor technology: "Memory integrity, also known as Hypervisor-protected Code Integrity (HVCI) is a Windows security feature that makes it difficult for malicious programs to use low-level drivers to hijack your computer."
