Why Does My HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server Running Windows Server 2022 Require Real-Time Priority for Applications, Unlike My Windows Server 2019 Setup?

After deploying a new HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server with Windows Server 2022, which is equipped with 2 CPUs, 48 cores, and 96 threads, we noticed that certain applications are significantly slower unless we manually set their priority to Realtime in Task Manager. This issue does not occur on a similar application running on a different server with 20 cores and 48 threads using Windows Server 2019, where the application runs smoothly without requiring manual priority adjustment.

Despite performing several optimizations—including setting the power options to High Performance, disabling core parking, and enabling Static High Performance Mode in iLO—the problem persists.

What could be the underlying cause of this issue, and how can we resolve it so that we don’t need to manually set the priority to Realtime every time? Could this be related to hardware configuration, software settings, or resource allocation, and what steps can we take to ensure the application runs optimally without additional manual intervention?
