My surface pro 7 wireless adapter is not working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the correct current driver, but it still does not work. Can I replace the driver (hardware)? Or what should I do. My surface is still under the 1 year warranty.

Thank you for posting your inquiry here in Microsoft Community, Elida Mae.

When you say that wireless adapter is not working, does it detect wi-fi but unable there's no connection or the device isn't detecting any wi-fi names?

Are you running Windows 11? Please perform the methods below:

    • Force the device to restart while it's on. Press the power button for 20 seconds while the device is on.
    • Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and check Windows Update.
    • Run the System File Checker.
    • Perform a network reset, select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset.
    • Try to uninstall the VPN (if you have) on the device and see how it goes.
    • Install the drivers package manually.
    • Check the specific OS build of your Windows SettingsSystemAbout.
    • Download the driver and firmware for Surface, choose Surface Pro 7 and click download on the next page.
    • Please choose the .msi file that matches your current OS Build and click Next.
    • After the download, runand installthe .msi then Restart the Surface Device
