Hi, we want to start leveraging Log analytics to get some insight on our Intune usage export of Endpoint analytics remediations data like Jan Ketil Skanke
and to build custom reports and we were wondering about the pricing.

If we already have log analytics workspace for Desktop Analytics and Update compliance, can we use them and will we have to pay, or will it be free?

Or do we have to create a new workspace for that and pay the following prices?
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/pricing/details/monitor/

Here's some examples of what we want to do:

@Stéphane Lalancette Thanks for your comment. You can send the data to the same workspace or send it to newly created workspace. The pricing depends on the pricing tier chosen by you. Workspaces in the Free pricing tier will have daily data ingestion limited to 500 MB and the data retention is limited to 7 days. Once the 500 MB limit is reached in day, the data will no longer be collected for the respective day.

If your log analytics workspace has pricing tier other than Free pricing tier, based on the data ingestion and data retention of your Intune logs, the pricing will be calculated. For more information , refer this link.

To monitor current costs of log analytics workspace in your subscription, you can check Cost Analysis Tab in Cost Management service.
