Error code 43 in device manager.

I have a error 43 that keeps appearing and disappearing.  The USB devices worked for a day then stopped working since.  This started sometime in March and now they wont come back on at all.  The USB mouse lights up as if it was on and glows when you move it like its supposed to do but it still doesn't work.  The keyboard doesn't do anything.  Currently i'm using a ps/2 keyboard.  I have a Windows 8 Inspiron 660 computer with a Asrock z77 pro4 motherboard and a gtx 275 graphics card.  Although my windows isn't 'genuine' so to speak i have purchased it from its website.  I also have 2 monitors connected, one to the motherboard the other to the graphics card.  In device manager the 'unknown devices' are sometimes there and sometimes not.  So far I have tried

  1. Uninstalling the usb ports controllers.
  2. Downloading the latest drivers for my device.
  3. Updating the computer several times.
  4. Unplugging and plugging in the usb devices.
  5. Plugging my device on other computers and they have worked,
  6. Plugging other working devices into my computer which hasn't worked.
  7. Using the Fixit kit which doesn't work.

I was wondering if I pay for the support and it doesn't fix my problem would i get a refund or not.  I also have documents on when the usb devices worked.

When the they board and mouse were working it showed in the device manager but the 'unknown devices' didn't disappear although the keyboard and mouse were the only things plugged.

                          ----Also----

I just noticed my 'Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller' has a error 45 and it says its not connect.  I dont know what this means but it may help.

-----------------------------------------------Other Information----------------------------------------------------

This has an error 45 and it says its not connected,  This looks important.

    Hello Roger,

    Thank you for the reply.

I am sorry for late response.

I would suggest you to try following steps and check if it helps.

    a. Remove all the USB devices connected to the computer.

    b. Press Windows + R keys, type regedit in run window and press Enter.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    c. In the navigation pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    d. In the details pane, right-click "LowerFilters", and then click "Delete".

    e. Click "Yes" when prompted.

    f. Close registry editor and restart the computer.

Note: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you
