The code execution cannot proceed because RockallDll.dll was not found.reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Question

I was just downloading age of empires 3 (im running on windows 10 HP laptop) then in stall it then when i run the game its says The code execution cannot proceed because RockallDll.dll was not found.reinstalling the program may fix this problem i try searching in the web how to solve this problem but i try everything and not a single one of i try works so please help (alot in the web says like system 32 or RockallDll.dll download but aint trusting that might be a virus so pls help

rockalldll.dll - is installed by the game and should be in the games main folder (with the age3.exe). It is not a Windows file

and does not belong in the System32 folder.

Two things may have happened. Either the game somehow failed to install the file, or the file is corrupt.

As the error says, reinstalling the game should help in either case.

• Disc based versions of the game need to be patched to v1.4, but this should not be required with download versions.
• After you uninstall the game verify the folder the game was installed in is empty. If not. delete the folder to make sure

no corrupt files are left before you try reinstalling again.

• Another option is to extract a new copy of rockalldll.dll from the Disk1C~1.cab file on the installation disc into the games main folder.

This option may or may not require the .dll file be registered in Windows, which would be done when the game is installed normally.
