has anyone been scammed by this company and are they affiliated with Microsoft?

    Oops. Unfortunately, you have fallen for a Tech support scam.

    If you allowed remote access, you do have issues.

    Now you must consider everything on your computer has been compromised. Passwords, PIN numbers, financial account information. A clean install of Windows is the best option and what I would do myself. See the following and decide if you want to tempt fate not knowing what they may have installed on your computer.

    unfortunately, yes.

    he said my firewall was down and people have been logging on from other countries.  he said he set up windows defender and the firewall, but I needed to buy a warranty, which I fell for.

    I have checked to be sure both are now on and am trying to get my money back.
