When doing new Windows 10 VM deployment in Azure VM Portal, found out that v2004 or newer version took longer time to initialize system before the Windows logon page appears. Using RDP into the VM, it stuck on 'Please Wait' screen for about 10 minutes. Windows v1909 or older version, just load about 2 minutes for Windows logon screen to appear after RDP to the VM. Windows 10 ISO from the Azure market place. ![79495-image.png][1] May I know is there any differences between Windows 10 version 1909 with newer release version 2004 or above. Thanks for providing the feedback about Windows 10 Version 2004 in terms of deployment from Azure VM portal. I will share this with the product team to further improve the product.

We have detailed documentation on what's new with the version 2004. Some of the new features are:

-Windows Hello is now supported as Fast Identity Online 2 (FIDO2) authenticator across all major browsers including Chrome and Firefox.
-In this release, Windows Defender System Guard enables an even higher level of System Management Mode (SMM) Firmware Protection that goes beyond checking the OS memory and secrets to additional resources like registers and IO.
-In Windows 10, version 2004, SetupDiag is now automatically installed.
-With this release, you can configure Windows Autopilot user-driven Hybrid Azure Active Directory join with VPN support.

Please find all the features in the documents shared below:
