    Hello @MS Techie ,

The now deprecated early preview SAP connectors for Logic App were a pair of connectors, one for connection directly to SAP Application Server, one for connection via SAP Message Server. The deprecated connectors only have generate schema and send command to SAP actions. The deprecated connectors did not support SNC for connection encryption or user authentication.

The current SAP connector for Logic, which is generally available, supports all of the preview capabilities in a single connector regardless of how you connect to SAP. It is enables a web-hook based trigger to receive calls from SAP (SAP then sees Logic App as another RFC Server addressable via Program Id). This new connector is available in both multi-tenant environment and in dedicated ISE environment (direct link to SAP, no network hop to On-Premises Data Gateway). The connector supports SNC, stateful BAPI sessions, has dedicated actions for BAPI and IDOCs, supports IDOCs in all formats flat file, namespace-based XML and plain SAP XML. These features are detailed on the official documentation which you linked.

As you can see there has been intensive development efforts poured into this connector, so I may have overlooked some of the new features which were not available in the deprecated connectors.

    With regards,

    David.
