Hello everyone, i am currently having this problem, yet i cant fix it myself.

My bluetooth function on my laptop seems to be broken and cant connected to anything else. I tried connected other bluetooth devices to my phone and it work perfectly so i think this is the laptop problem.

I have tried serval way to fix this like, but none of this fix my problems.

  • Uninstall and Reinstall bluetooth driver
  • Perform a power flush on my laptop
  • Restart bluetooth services.

The bluetooth still here on my laptop but when i tried to connect it to another device like my controller, it said this error

    Hello,

    Thanks for the response.

The driver page also shows a Mediatek BT driver. Can you try installing that? Uninstall first the current one.

If that says it's incompatible then install the Intel V22.230.0.2

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi,

I wonder if there might be an issue with the driver you have installed.

You have reinstalled the driver, correct? If so, the previous version should have been deleted.

Please check the Device Manager: go to the Bluetooth driver, select "Update," then click "Browse my computer" and "Select from a list." Do you have another version available? If yes, try installing an older version.

If you don't have any other versions, could you send me a screenshot of both the driver version and the BIOS version from your device's system information?

Additionally, please provide the model of your laptop and your Windows version (you can find this by searching for "winver").

    Thanks
    Levi

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hello,

This might be an issue with the controller actually. A user suggests updating the firmware before connecting the controller.

"Go to the Microsoft Store and install and launch the Xbox Accessories app

Plug your Xbox One controller into your PC via USB

You should see an 'Update Required' button on the plugged in controller in the Accessories app, click it and follow the instructions to update. NOTE: DO NOT move, unplug, or touch the controller while it's updating, make sure the cable is plugged in solidly and put it somewhere stable where it won't fall or get knocked over, otherwise you could brick it

After the update is complete, unplug the controller and try pairing again"

You're going to need a cable connection first to update the firmware.

Another user suggested that you might need to install .NET 6.0

Is this an Xbox one controller? I personally use the wireless USB adapter rather than Bluetooth. Maybe consider getting one of those.
