Auto provisioning - Azure AD - default group

Dear readers,

We have dynamic groups disabled, however each time we make a user this user is auto added to the default teams team group (organisation wide teams team). How is this possible? Groups settings are set to "assigned" instead of dynamic .

This is by default, not related to dynamic membership.

When an org-wide team is created, all global admins and Teams service administrators are added as team owners and all active users are added as team members. Unlicensed users are also added to the team. For more information, please refer to this article.

According to your description, a public or private team is more suitable.
