Recovery code.

Four weeks ago, for some reason I was not able to enter a recovery/security code. So, I had to wait for four weeks, and to today it finally came. I printed the code and went on to "Next" hoping to enter the code. Yes, I entered it but this was not the end: MS requested my PW which I entered. The problem was they did not accept it, and I do NOT know why. So, I got stuck but went through a slew of following entries, and all of a sudden, they declared all cancelled and I have to wait another 4 weeks until I get a code. Now I am at the point from 4 weeks ago. To mention this, I printed the code to keep in a safe place.

I do not know what is happening but I know for sure that the process is confusing and not user friendly (as usual with Microsoft). I just want to enter the new code, and not verify anything with the same data I entered at the beginning. This frustrates me, and I feel treated like the last sh..

Is there any way to ease the process?

Thanks for the reply. It will take a little bit of time to put together what you ask for. It will be difficult to explain it step by step since I cannot do the same thing again since it happened. All in all, I can say the process is dissatisfying and without any proper advice on each step. I still do not understand and accept that it takes 4 weeks to get the code, recovery/security. Whether it is 4 weeks or the next day does not matter to me as long as I can get back to my MS account and do not have to fiddle around. And, by the way, I have a second PC with a MS Account and it works alright. Both have the same information. This makes it so frustrating: on one PC I have this problem and on the other I have NOT. That must be explained to a simple and normal user. So, please be patient and wait to see whether I can get it for you.

According to your description, I knew that you have waited 4 weeks to re-enter your recovery code, but the system did not accept it. If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply.

May I ask what problem you encountered before that caused you to enter the recovery code? Then where did you enter your recovery code? Please describe in detail(or screenshot it) in your next reply so that we can better identify the problem and provide effective solutions and suggestions.
