Displaying your screen content to others during a Teams meeting or call for collaboration
Sadly no 🙁
So it looks like a clumsy transition then, having gone seemlessy from PP to desktop to getting back to PowerPoint via the 'stop sharing'. 🤔

Hi
Is it possible, while in the share screen mode, to toggle from a PowerPoint presentation to my desktop and then back.
So far, it seems I can , by clicking on the share whilst in PowerPoint, select desktop but to go back, it seems I have to stop sharing then click share and select PowerPoint, which is all a bit clumsy as I lose both desktop and PP momentarily.
The reason I want to do this is to break out from the PowerPoint to use the edge snap windows feature, so my class can compare 2 documents side by side.
Thanks

Do you have a second monitor by chance? You could share that screen and use the solution I recommended. That way, you can still see your Teams app in the main monitor.
Hi Joe
Thanks for the reply, I'll have a look tomorrow.
However, does this mean I will be running the PowerPoint outside of Teams?
If so, then that puts me in a position where I can't see the students or chat etc when Pp is on screen. This is why I was running it in Teams which has brought up the toggle issue.
Thanks

You should be able to accomplish this through sharing your desktop, as your class will then see whatever you see. In preparing for this, you may want to create a new Desktop in advance, exclusively for materials for your class.
Then, before you share, start your presentation, so that it will be fullscreen.
Use alt-Tab to switch back to Teams, and when you are ready, share your screen, choosing Desktop (Screen #1). It will minimize Teams and switch back to your PowerPoint presentation screen, which will now be outlined in red.
To jump to the desktop, alt-D will minimize all windows. You can resume your presentation, or switch to another app by using alt-Tab as normal. Additionally, you can use the snap windows feature as well for documents.
I hope that this is helpful.
Kind Regards,
