Add Ins for Mac Powerpoint

Hey,

I know that Microsoft offers Add Ins for Excel and Word but it doesn't seem to offer the same for Powerpoint.

I would like to use lucid chart, but they say, that Add Ins for Powerpoint aren't possible (read here).

So, question is:

Does anyone know if Add Ins (similar to Excel and Word) are planned Powerpoint and if there is already a proposed timeline?

Thank you

Florian

That thread is more than six months old... Much has changed since that conversation took place.

Assuming your installation of Office 2016 is fully updated, go to the Insert tab & click the Store button, then search using the term chart. This is what should be found:

    Hi Florian,

We can insert add-ins in PowerPoint for Mac. What's the version number of your PowerPoint? Make sure you're using the latest version (In PowerPoint, go to Help > Check for Updates).

If you get any error when adding this add-in, please let us know and share a screenshot of it.

    Regards,

    James
