I'd just saved a Word document in 'This PC' > Documents having used the Word template. I then went back a little later to open it but can't - there's a sign-in box on it, one that I've never seen before:
This box is not showing when I open that document via OneDrive > Documents.
I then checked a few other documents in both folders and some have this on them:
Again, I've not seen this before and have no idea what the effect of 'unable to register' is.
I searched here and >>found this thread<< which >>linked to this one.<<
They're quite old and mention SkyDrive and OneNote, neither of which I use/know.
Any thoughts, please? TIA

Hi. I can't follow those instructions - that thread is in the Office365 for Business forum & refers to OneDrive for Business. I've Office365 Home Premium and haven't the same 'paths'.
Also, you haven't mentioned my problem with the Sign-In box.
Start Word itself, in Recent is there a link to that doc showing the OneDrive path?

I'm probably misunderstanding the suggestion but when I check Recent, all are shown as in my main Documents folder - that's where I save them and they then sync automatically with OneDrive
I'm still getting this problem so it's not a Win10 issue I imagine as I'm now on the Anniversary build.
