I have tried installing microsoft office professional plus 2016 and continue to get the same error.   Several boxes populate that have an acrobat distller header but say "unable to create the temporary folder.  Error: 3 -the system cannot find the path specified."

The error in the office box says:

This is a new laptop.  Win 10 64 bit.  Office was not installed on it previously.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Jess,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

First lets try installing Office from another user account.

Could you confirm if this also happens in the default Administrator account?

Open Start

Type: cmd

Right click CMD

Click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type:

net user administrator /active:yes

Hit Enter

Close command prompt, restart, then try signing into the Administrator account.

Disable your Antivirus utility temporarily

Try running the file again.

If that still does not work,

Go to http://tb.rg-adguard.net/

Choose the following options in the screenshot. After downloading, right click the image, click Open with > File Explorer

Start setup, complete the installation, sign in with your account or enter your product key.

Thank you so much.  Deactivating antivirus resolved my issue.  I didnt even have to re-install.  Office appeared installed as soon as it was dactivated.

    Thanks again!
