Hi

I'm new to Azure Stack HCI. From some reading I understand that you can enable Azure monitor for HCI for log analytics. My question is, is logs all we get for the stack or do we also have access to the Azure platform metrics?

Also, are these stacks managed with different local cost/management APIs or are they the same as public APIs?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

    Hi,

Once the monitoring enabled for HCI cluster and with the help of log analytic agent, you will be able to view the health status of the individual servers, drives, volumes, and VMs. Like complete status view about the cluster.

After completing the necessary configurations, you have the possibility to view the monitor data of a single cluster directly from the Azure Stack HCI resource page or you can use Azure Monitor to obtain an aggregate view of multiple Azure Stack HCI clusters.

I understand, its still uses public APIs. I have used for for some get functions.
