Embedded charts Not working on ppt & excel Not work proper

hello 

 i have Microsoft office 365 Business version  and I am not able to create embedded charts in Power Point. When I go to Insert>Chart>Select Chart, nothing happens (corresponding Excel window does not open at all). Therefore, I am not able to punch in required data points to create a chart.

According to your description, when you go to Insert>Chart>choose a chart in PowerPoint, the corresponding Excel window does not appear. I tested on my side, and there is no problem about it.

Though I can't reproduce the problem, here are some suggestions for you, and I hope they can help you:

1. Make sure the PowerPoint client is up to date. If not, please update to the latest version.
2. You can try Office safe mode to determine if the third party add-ins affect the office program
3. You can perform a clean boot in Windows to determine whether a background program is interfering with Office program.

If the problem persists, could you please provide some information for me?

1. The PowerPoint version. Go File>Account>Product Information.
2. Is this your first time using this feature? Or has it been used successfully before?
3. Did you make any changes before this problem happened on Office or the PC?
