Receipt tracking advice needed

I have an Employee who has to travel a lot for his job and needs to use the company card for his expenses. It seems inefficient for him to hold on to his receipts all month and send them to me at once. I am looking for a way or an application so that he can use his phone, take a picture or scan the receipt, and it will be uploaded to a shared folder in office 365/one drive automatically with minimal effort on his part.

If you have any application or program you recommend and advice how to set up the automation please let me know.

Hi Christian,

The user can consider using Microsoft Lens app on his/her phone. With Microsoft Lens, user can take the picture of the receipts and then can store it in his/her OneDrive for business.

You can upload your captured document and whiteboard images to Microsoft OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, or OneDrive, and you can also save them as PDF files or send them in email.

For the first time, when we take an image via Microsoft Lens and select OneDrive as a storage location, it creates a new folder named “Office Lens” in OneDrive. After that anytime, we take the image via Microsoft Lens, and select OneDrive as the location, the image gets stored in Office lens folder.

For more information, see

Microsoft Lens for Android

Microsoft Lens for iOS

Once the receipts are stored in OneDrive, the user can share the “Office Lens” with **** you to access.

If you need any help, let me know.

Regards,

Neha
