All of these notebooks were created by using Ipad. I am trying to refer some notes after months of not using it, and I noticed that some sections of my notebook are having the inserted pdf pages shown as blank page. Besides, I noticed that the Notebook named "Master Sem 2" and "Master Sem 5" is not available in my OneDrive , hence not accessible by the OneNote in browser. I am having difficulty to sync them as well as I kept receiving the sync error message.

In summary need help on 2 matters :1. Corrupted inserted pdf pages.

  1. Failure in syncing my notebook. Approaches that I have tried : 1. Restart my device (Ipad).
  2. Restart the software (Microsoft OneNote)
  3. Sign out and Sign in without closing my notebook as I afraid that I will lost my notebook.

It is great if I can have your kindly guidance, thank you!

    Hi,

I'm Sneha and I'd be happy to help you out with your question. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please try following self troubleshooting steps for the issues you're facing in OneNote on your iPad:

    1. Corrupted Inserted PDF Pages:
      • Start by closing and reopening the affected notes to see if the PDF pages display correctly. Sometimes, this can resolve temporary glitches.
      • If the problem persists, try reinserting the PDF pages. Open the note with the blank page, tap on the blank page, and choose the "Insert" option to reinsert the PDF. Check if the new insertion displays correctly.
    2. Failure in Syncing Notebook:
      • Ensure that you have a stable internet connection on your iPad. A weak or intermittent connection can cause sync issues. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or use cellular data if available.
      • Restarting the OneNote app might not be sufficient. Sign out of your Microsoft account in OneNote on your iPad and then sign back in. To do this, go to the app settings, find the account section, and choose the option to sign out. After signing out, sign back in with your Microsoft account credentials and check if the sync issue persists.
      • If the problem continues, attempt removing the notebook from your device and adding it again. It's important to have a backup of the notebook before proceeding. To remove the notebook, go to the notebook list in OneNote, swipe left on the notebook you want to remove, and tap the "Delete" option. To add the notebook back, tap the "Add Notebook" option and select it from your OneDrive or SharePoint.
