One Note on Ipad synchronisation problem. Cannot find the proper cloud files on One Drive server.

L.s.
My PC runs on Window 10 and I use Windows 365. The main user of Windows 365 is my PC.
One Drive in the Cloud syncs with One Drive on my PC ssd. I make a monthly backup on an external ssd as well.
I also access the Office 365 files from one Windows laptop, two Ipads, an Iphone and a Samsung smartphone.
Recently I had to replace my defective iPad with a new one.  I installed the backup of my defective iPad. Everything worked fine, but the original One Note files from the cloud did not sync with the new iPad. I only see the very recent notes. I've tried everything to solve that.
I think I accidentally created a new One Note account with the same username and password and the only solution is to delete the account from my iPad and reinstall the entire Windows 365 app on my new Ipad?
When I try to do that I encounter many warnings and have to use the same Windows username and password that I use for Windows on my PC.
***I don’t want to risk that I delete the whole Windows 365 content (One Drive and One Note) in the cloud. Or will these remain when I erase Windows 365 from my Ipad only.***After that I want to install Windows 365 again on the Ipad and hope One note will properly synchronize.
Or do you have other suggestions?

    Microsoft article:
“” OneNote 2016 and OneNote for Win 10 each keep a cached copy of your pages on your device. We recommend that you use them offline until the next time that you connect to the internet. By that time, all the changes that you made will be synced to OneDrive so that you'll be able to see the changes on other devices.
    And ““The page is synchronized for the last time at 28-8-2023 | E0000642 c5ig6 20102 | c03bda78-76fe-4cbc-b383-8bf709af10dd 202401281835“

I have a One Note copy on my computer (still not in the cloud).

I still do not manage to synchronize the One Note files from my computer SSD tot the Windows 365 cloud. In One Drive – Personal – Documents – One Note – Notebook I see the maps:

    My Notebook

    TotalAV.

    Both maps are empty.

There are no problems synchronizing The One Drive files. I can see actual files on all my devices.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,

I don’t think you need to delete the account from your iPad and reinstall the entire Windows 365 app. That may cause more problems and confusion.

To fix this issue, you can try the following methods:

    • Check if your OneNote app and your OneDrive app are using the same account. To do this, open both apps and tap on the account icon in the upper left corner. Make sure they are both signed in with the same email address. If not, sign out from the wrong account and sign in with the correct one.
    • Check if your notebooks are stored in the OneDrive folder that is synced with your account. To do this, open the OneDrive app and tap on the Files tab. Look for the folder that has a OneNote icon on it. This is the folder where your notebooks are stored. If you don't see this folder, you may need to create it or move your notebooks to it.
    • Force sync your notebooks from the OneNote app. To do this, open the OneNote app and tap on the notebooks icon in the upper left corner. Then, tap on the sync icon next to each notebook. You can also tap on the sync icon in the bottom right corner to sync all notebooks at once.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Regards, Sola
