You will need to contact your college account administrators.
They can initiate require re-register MFA that will fix this problem and let you setup the MFA again.

I lost access to my Microsoft Authenticator app and can’t use it to get the verification code to sign in to my college account.
my email is lj********@mcc.edu** , everytime I try and sign in I get a pop-up saying error and whenever I get on my Authenticator app it doesn’t give me an option to enter the two digits in provided to verify sign in.

Hello,
You will have to ask your college IT team to reset your MFA methods so that you can use Authenticator.
It would also help if you could expand the "View details" menu so that we can see exactly what the issue is.
Also, I covered the email address in your picture since this is a public forum :)
