How the billing will be when I scale up an Azure reserved instance vm

Hi everyone,
As the title, I'd like to ask about pricing in Microsoft Azure service for reserved VMs.
E.g I have an D2v2 reserved VM and due to the lack of resource, I want to scale up it to D3v2.
=> How pricing looks like? The difference in resource will be discounted as reserved resources?

    here you can see how the reserved instances are applied if there is a resizing in the same VM series (same instance size flexibility group):
