It appears that you're having trouble with the shift lock feature in Roblox on your Windows 11 system. Since you've already attempted to uninstall Roblox, restart your laptop, and adjust the in-game settings without any improvement, here are some additional steps you might consider:

    1. Review Keyboard Settings: Check if any accessibility features like Sticky Keys or Filter Keys are enabled, as these can affect keyboard functionality. You can find these settings under Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard.
    2. Update Your Keyboard Drivers: Ensure that your keyboard drivers are current. You can do this by accessing Device Manager, locating your keyboard, right-clicking it, and selecting Update driver.
    3. Test Shift Lock in Other Games: Try using the shift lock feature in different games to determine if the issue is specific to Roblox or affects other applications as well.
    4. Verify Roblox Settings: Within Roblox, make sure that the shift lock option is enabled in the game settings, as it can sometimes be toggled off accidentally.
    5. Run Roblox as Administrator: Right-click on the Roblox icon and choose Run as administrator to see if this resolves the issue.

If these suggestions do not resolve your problem, it may be beneficial to contact Roblox support for more tailored assistance regarding their platform.

    Hi Silvia,

Thank you for sharing your question. I understand about the Shift Lock problem in Roblox. I get how annoying it is when it doesn't work right, especially after you've been away from the game for a while. This stuff usually happens because of game setting changes, Windows accessibility stuff, or problems with overlays and scaling settings. Let’s sort this together.

To fix it, first, check that Shift Lock Switch is on in Roblox settings, and that Camera Mode is on Classic and Movement Mode is on Keyboard + Mouse. If the option says Set by Developer, then the game itself turned off Shift Lock, and you can’t do anything about it. Next, look at your Windows keyboard settings to be sure Sticky Keys or Filter Keys are off because they can mess things up. Updating your keyboard drivers and running Roblox as an admin might also help. Also, set your display scaling to one hundred percent in Windows Settings and try turning off or uninstalling the Xbox Game Bar since it can cause problems with Roblox input. If that doesn't do the trick, try reinstalling Roblox and clearing old files. If you still have issues, you should contact Roblox Support since some problems are just with certain games.

Can you check if the Shift Lock option says Set by Developer in the game you're playing? Did you also try messing with your display scaling and turning off Xbox Game Bar? Let me know what you see, and I’ll help you out with the next steps if you need it.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

Go to device manager, click on Human Interface devices, select touch screen and disable it, then turn it back on. This worked for me and shift lock now works again.
