My computer was activated by a digital license, and then it said I needed a valid license. So I bought one, and now its not valid. Anybody have a clue as to what I can do to get support, a refund, or most importantly get my computer activated.

If your computer is repeatedly asking for activation, it may be due to a few reasons. Since you mentioned that it was activated by a digital license, it's possible that the digital license is no longer recognized, or there may be issues with the new license you purchased. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Your Activation Status: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation. This will show you the current activation status of your Windows.
    2. Use the Activation Troubleshooter: If your Windows is not activated, you can use the built-in troubleshooter. In the Activation settings, look for a link that says "Troubleshoot" and follow the prompts.
    3. Verify the Product Key: Ensure that the product key you purchased is valid and that you are entering it correctly. Sometimes, keys can be region-specific or tied to specific versions of Windows.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If the problem persists, it may be best to contact Microsoft support for assistance. They can help you verify the status of your digital license and the new key you purchased.

Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet, as activation requires an online connection to validate the license.

Thank you for responding. Please try this steps see if it will help.

Click on the Start button, then select Settings. Select Accounts from the left pane and click on Your info on the right. Under your name, you’ll see Administrator.

Confirm that the administrator account is also your Microsoft account by checking to see if an email address is displayed above Administrator.

If an email address is displayed, it is a Microsoft account. If not, you’re logged in using a local account.
