Unable to restore MySQL backup due to ProvisioningDisabled in Brazil South. Requesting temporary capacity release for Point-in-Time Restore.

We are currently unable to perform a Point-in-Time Restore for our Azure Database for MySQL server due to the following error:

Provisioning in requested region is not supported. Your subscription might not have access to create a server in the selected region.

The restore operation is in the same region (Brazil South) and the location field is locked by Azure. This prevents us from restoring the backup in another region.

    Hi Manoj, thank you very much for your message and for all the support so far. I was able to successfully open a support ticket with Azure regarding this issue. I really appreciate all the assistance up to this point.
