It seems that you are experiencing an issue where all your messages, flagged items, and pinned items have disappeared from your inbox, and you can only see new incoming messages. This could be due to a filter applied to your inbox view settings, which may be hiding the items from view.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. In Outlook, go to the View tab in the ribbon.
    2. In the Current View area, select View Settings.
    3. Click on Filter and review the filtering options to ensure that no filters are hiding your messages. Check options like date received, keywords, read/unread status, sender/recipient, importance, and size.
    4. Adjust or clear any filters that may be applied.

After making these changes, check your inbox again to see if the missing items reappear.

    Hi Maria,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it can be to open your inbox and find that all your previous messages, along with flagged and pinned items, have disappeared. Let’s go through a few steps that often resolve this issue.

First, check if your inbox view is filtered. Sometimes, Outlook applies filters that only show unread or recent messages. You can reset this by going to View > Reset View or ensuring the filter is set to All.

Second, verify if Focused Inbox is enabled. Emails might be in the Other tab instead of Focused. You can turn off Focused Inbox under Settings > Mail > Layout to see all messages in one place.

Third, review your inbox rules and sweep settings. Rules can automatically move or delete emails without notice. Navigate to Settings > Mail > Rules and disable any that might affect your inbox.

Last, if flagged and pinned items are missing, this could be due to recent changes in Outlook behavior. Flagged emails often appear in To Do or require creating a Search Folder. For pinned emails, some users report issues in Outlook Web, so checking via the desktop app or another browser may help. If none of these steps work, repairing or recreating your Outlook profile can resolve sync-related problems.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any further questions If the answer is helpful, please click "Accept Answer".
