It sounds like you're experiencing a recurring issue with your keyboard becoming unresponsive after signing out on your PCs. This could be related to several factors, including driver issues, power management settings, or conflicts with other devices.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Update Keyboard Drivers: Ensure that your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager by right-clicking on the keyboard and selecting "Update driver."
    2. Check Power Management Settings: Sometimes, power management settings can cause devices to stop responding. Go to Device Manager, find your keyboard, right-click, and select "Properties." Under the "Power Management" tab, ensure that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
    3. Disconnect Other USB Devices: If you have other USB devices connected, try disconnecting them to see if there's a conflict.
    4. Test with Another Keyboard: If possible, test with another keyboard to determine if the issue is with the keyboard itself or the PC.
    5. Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows is fully updated, as updates can fix bugs and improve system stability.
    6. Check for Background Applications: Sometimes, applications running in the background can interfere with keyboard functionality. Try closing unnecessary applications before signing out.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be worth checking for any specific updates or known issues related to your version of Windows 11 that could be causing this behavior.

There is a widely reported problem in the October and November updates that causes the keyboard not to work when you start your PC, and it will work correctly after a restart.

The best option is to open the Feedback Hub app in Windows and report this to their developers there, if more people report the problem, then the sooner they will provide a patch for this problem.

In the meantime, some people indicate if they disable Fast Startup as a workaround, that may resolve the problem until a fix is provided for the bug in that update.

Open the old Control Panel (not the settings app)

At the top of the old Control Panel, set view to icons

    Open Power Options

On the left, click 'Choose what the power buttons do'

At the top right, click 'Change settings that are currently unavailable'

Under 'Shutdown settings' disable 'Turn on fast startup'

Save that and close Control Panel
