Random shutdown / Kernel-Power Event ID 41 – hardware checked, still occurring

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my Windows laptop and would appreciate any insight.

My laptop suddenly shuts down without any warning during normal use (sometimes gaming, sometimes light tasks). After restarting, Event Viewer consistently logs Kernel-Power Event ID 41 (63).

What I’ve confirmed so far: Shutdown is instant (no BSOD, no error message). Issue has occurred multiple times. I have checked all hardware components, including the power supply/charger and battery, and they all appear to be in normal condition. I have tested different power outlets. Windows sometimes struggles to boot normally after the shutdown and may require several restarts. I dont know whats wrong with my laptop because i had check all my hardware on system diagnostic and it say normal System information: OS:Windows 11 CPU:  I3 1215u GPU: Intel Uhd RAM: 8 Gb dual channel I’m trying to identify the root cause before doing a full Windows reinstall. Kernel-Power Event ID 41 (63) errors usually indicate a hardware problem especially if your laptop is instantly shutting down.

If you have any XMP profile set on your RAM in BIOS, disable that or of you have changed any settings on your processor, disable that.

Open the old Control Panel (not the settings app)

At the top of the old Control Panel, set view to icons

Open Power Options

On the left, click 'Choose what the power buttons do'

At the top right, click 'Change settings that are currently unavailable'

Under 'Shutdown settings' disable 'Turn on fast startup'

Save that and close Control Panel

Then, restart your laptop and wait to test if the system is stable.
