Building and customizing solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot APIs and tools

- Early access available: August 4, 2025 – admins can test and validate features before they are automatically enabled.
- General availability (GA): October 1, 2025 – production deployment begins; regional deployments start the same day.
- Enablement model for features:
- Users, automatically – user experience changes turned on automatically.
- Admins, makers, or analysts, automatically – admin/maker features turned on automatically.
- Users by admins, makers, or analysts – must be explicitly enabled or configured by admins/makers/analysts.
- 2026 wave 1 plan
- The 2026 wave 1 plan is planned to be available on March 18, 2026.
- It is associated with the 2026 October release (build 9.2.26093) and will define features releasing in that wave.
- Dataverse and release waves
- The 2025 release wave 2 plans for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform compile new capabilities released between October 2025 and March 2026.
