Is the certificate free for all students who complete the program?

Is the eligibility criteria limited to completing the provided playlist, or are there any additional requirements?

Complete an AI Skills Fest featured playlist, and earn a Credly badge* you can share.

Finish an eligible playlist and receive a voucher for select Certification exams.

Finish an eligible playlist and receive a voucher for 100% off a Microsoft Certification exam. Microsoft Certification exams (including beta) and GitHub exams are eligible. Exams delivered by Certiport and Microsoft Office Specialist exams are not eligible.

REWARDS Participants who complete an eligible skilling playlist during the Active Period will earn: a. One (1) free Microsoft Certification exam voucher, and b. One (1) digital badge recognizing completion of a Microsoft AI Skills Fest skilling playlist.

Microsoft Certification exam voucher To receive the voucher by email, participants must complete the voucher claim form by 12:00AM UTC June 12, 2026 with their information. This form will be available to learners in the event experience once they complete the playlist. The voucher will not be triggered automatically.

The certification exam voucher must be redeemed within 60 days of issuance by 12:00AM UTC August 18, 2026 and the exam must be delivered by 12:00AM UTC October 18, 2026. Limit one reward per person, regardless of the number of skilling playlists completed. The voucher may be used for any available Microsoft Certification exam.

For anyone hunting for the voucher claim form: it's not on the playlist page itself, which is why it's so easy to miss.

Once you've finished a playlist, click AI Skills Fest in the left sidebar (under "Events"). At the top of that page you'll see a "Playlist complete!" banner with a "Check what's unlocked →" link. That's where the form to claim your voucher lives.

If the banner isn't showing yet, give it a few minutes and refresh, the completion takes a moment to register before it appears.
