Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Installing the USB camera should be easy.

Plug the USB camera into your computer.

If you are using a laptop, you should disable the internal cameras first. So that Windows will automatically detect the external USB camera plugged in. To do that,

    1. Open the Device Manager (Click Windows key + X)
    2. Expand the arrow next to Cameras.
    3. Right-click your internal Camera driver, select Disable.
    4. Then, open the Cameras app and test your Logitech USB camera and see if it works.

If you are using a desktop PC, the camera should automatically work when you plug it into your computer. It is a plug‑and‑play device, so no additional setup is required. However, make sure that the Logitech camera drivers are being detected in the Device Manager.

Let me know if you still need more help.

    Thank you for your question.

How to Install a Logitech USB Camera on Windows 11

    1. Connect the camera
    • Plug the Logitech USB camera into an available USB port on your Windows 11 PC.
      • Windows 11 will automatically detect the device and install the required drivers. Most Logitech webcams are plug-and-play and do not require manual driver installation.
    1. Verify the camera is detected
    • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
      • Expand Cameras and confirm that the Logitech camera is listed.
    1. Test the webcam
    • Open the Camera application from the Start menu.
      • Confirm that you can see a live video preview from the Logitech camera.
    1. Enable camera permissions
    • Go to SettingsPrivacy & SecurityCamera.
    • Turn on Camera access.
      • Ensure that camera access is enabled for the applications you intend to use, such as Microsoft Teams.
    1. Install Logitech software (optional)
      • For additional features such as firmware updates and camera settings, install Logi Tune from Logitech Support.
      • Logitech Support & Downloads

    Troubleshooting

If the camera is not recognised:

    • Try a different USB port.
    • Disconnect and reconnect the camera.
    • Restart the computer.
    • In Device Manager, right-click the camera and select Update driver.

    Kind regards,
    Marten
