Hi

On one of our directors PC's, he cannot use ASCII chars in his Teams chats.
For example, his name has an é in it. If he types ALT+0130 or ALT+130 in Word or any other program besides Teams and WhatsApp, he gets an é. In Teams and WhatsApps he gets a ♠.

His keyboard is set to US. Both Windows 10 and Teams are up-to-date.

What else can I check?

    Hi @Chris Nash ,

I could type this mark on my Teams client using ALT 130.

Please check if the Windows 10 language and Teams language are both English.

And after some tests, it seems that one of my test environment failed to show the results and it convert to a "?" for every input ASCII chars.

I think you could uninstall the Teams client and reinstall it, this article may help you on this: https://adamtheautomator.com/uninstall-microsoft-teams/
