I have a customer asking if our enterprise apps can show a description (hover over text or some other way to tell them what the app is for). I don't see anything like that. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi @John Hirst ,

Just to make sure that I understand correctly, you want to be able to hover over the enterprise apps listed in the Azure Portal and see a description?

This is not currently supported, but I think it's an excellent idea as a feature suggestion for the product team.

Right now you can manually set application names to the same format so that their purposes are more easily recognized, or you can add the similar types of apps to the same security group.

If you have a Premium P1 or P2 license you can also set up Collections on the My Apps portal to organize your applications.

As you probably have already seen, in the Properties section of the Enterprise you can add notes about the app to include whatever details you want, but you do have to click into the Enterprise App to see these.

If you'd like, you can create a feature request in the newly revised Ideas forum to suggest this to the product team. https://feedback.azure.com/

I will also be happy to share your insights as product feedback to the engineering team to push this feature forward, and I will let you know what they say.

    Thanks,

    Marilee
