The outline of a Javascript file doesn't show in Document outline view in Visual studio2017 nor in Class view. Is there any way to show the tree structure of Javascript file? (I know it does in Visaul Studio Code but I'd like to use VS2017) Thanks in advance.

Hi 88160853, The document outline windows cannot open the contents in code editor, you need to use it with "designer". So there's no designer for JS file , do you mean it is impossible to open its document outline in VisualStudio?

Yes. Currently, you cannot use document window with js file in visual studio.
