Visual Studio noob here needs a bit of help

Okay, so basically, very big noob here, I am just starting out unity and got tried using VS for the first time, so I'm following a tutorial for VS but here's the thing, when I open up visual studio, I don't see anything where the "terminal"? (you know the place where you write code) should be, the guy in the tutorial opens up a new project and it's there for him but this is what I see when I open it up!

I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question but I can't seem to articulate it on google, any help is appreciated!
