IPP printer not installing in Windows 11 - Are there any debugging logs?

Hi,

I'm attempting to develop an IPP server and virtual printer in .NET which I want to then use in Windows 11.

So far I've got the encoding and decoding working fine with basic operation support, near to IPP 1.1 compliance.

I'm aware that Windows requests 2.0 compliance, so I'll be working towards that, but in the meantime, is there anywhere I can get debug logs for failed IPP printer installs?

I currently get a generic error message:

But presumably there is logging going on somewhere?

Unfortunately, none of the logs in Event Viewer in the PrintService area are relevant.

The screenshot is in dutch, but the location is the same,
adding a ipp printer is not done by ip address or hostname (altough you can select IPP device) but by adding a shared printer by name
