Getting rid of OneDrive entries in Explorer sidebar

Hello

After unlinking an MS365 business account from OneDrive, the entries "OneDrive - oldcompany" and "Oldcompany" (SharePoint) remain in the Explorer sidebar.

The actual folder that are linked to can be deleted from the user's main folder but the entries in the sidebar are still there, now simply pointing to the void.

On the web there are 100 pages and forum posts that suggest a change to the registry (set value of System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree keys from 1 to 0 at specific locations). Unfortunately this change to the registry has no effect. The entries in the sidebar are still there, also after reboot.

We see this behaviour on several devices, so it's not an isolated case on one device.

Any suggestions?

    Hi @david-cslu ,
    Try this method:
    Win+R and enter regedit, open registry editor go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace.
    Find registry with name "OneDrive - oldcompany" and "Oldcompany in list, then delete them.

    Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, please remember to back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
