Can Azure monitor ingest logs from on-premise docker containers?
Is it possible to persist on-premise docker container(docker host on Windows & Linux Vms) logs in Azure Monitor ? If its doable, please share some reference implementation/documentation details.

Yes, you can get logs from docker directly without ContainerInsights by installing and using OMS Agent for Linux directly.
Then just configure required data sources in Log Analytics Management panelBut please be informed, this OMS Agent for Linux is going to be retired in August 2024.
If you are interested to work in such cases later, it's recommended to start using Azure Monitoring Agent (it requires Azure Arc agent as a bridge to Azure Cloud)
