IWMSPlugins.Category (C#)

The Category property retrieves the category name for the IWMSPlugins collection.

Syntax

  string = IWMSPlugins.Category;

Property Value

A string containing the category name.

If this property fails, it throws an exception.

Number	Description
0x8007000E	There is insufficient memory to complete the function.

Remarks

This property is read-only. The category identifies the general functionality of the plug-in. The following category names can be returned:

• Authentication
• Broadcast Data Sink
• Cache
• Control Protocol
• Data Source
• Event Notification and Authorization
• Media Parser
• Playlist Parser
• Stream Filter
• Unicast Data Sink
