This template deploys an instance of the Azure API for FHIR®.

Sample overview and deployed resources

The Azure API for FHIR® is a managed, standards-based, and compliant healthcare data platform. It enables organizations to bring their clinical health data into the cloud based on the interoperable data standard FHIR®.

As a part of this solution, an Azure API for FHIR® resource is created.

Deployment steps

You can click the Deploy to Azure button at the beginning of this document to deploy an instance of the Azure API for FHIR®. To learn more about how to deploy the template, see the quickstart article.

During deployment, you can specify the service name, environment name and location. All other parameters for deployment are automatically configured for you.
