Can I decide which Students to accept?

You have complete control over the Students you work with.

Ultimately it is your decision on who you work with and what students you will accept.  Since declining a student can cause disappointment, please be aware that declining multiple students can affect your ranking in our search results.

To ensure accurate student matching, it's crucial to provide specific details in your profile regarding:

  • Preferred Students: Clarify whether you prefer teaching adults, children, or both.
  • Preferred Ages: Specify the age range of students you prefer to teach.
  • Subject Expertise: List only the subjects you feel confident and proficient in teaching.
  • Teaching Levels: Indicate your proficiency level in teaching, such as beginners, intermediate, or advanced students.

If for some reason we match you with a student is not a good fit you can choose to decline that particular student, but please let us know right away so we quickly can find that student a new teacher.
