Q: How can I create my tutor profile?

A: Complete the following steps to create your profile:

  • Click on Teach with Us tab

  • Click on get started and signup either via email or phone number

  • Once your account is created, you will enter the Quick Onboarding flow:

    • Complete “Subject selection & Earnings”

      • You can select multiple subjects

      • For each subject selection – Grades/skills and curriculum need to be added.

      • Teaching Philosophy will be the default title for your subject listing

** Please note, you can add/edit more details in the Profile and Subjects section later **

  • Click on Next, Complete “About you”:

    • Add “About Bio”, “Teaching experience”, and “Gender”

  • Click on Next, Complete “Preview your profile”

  • You will need to upload a profile picture and click on finish

Once complete and you have clicked on finish, the profile will “Go Live” and will appear in search results in next 24 hours.

Q: How can I edit or update my profile?

A: You can login at https://takelessons.com/en-in/login to your profile and edit your details. We suggest you complete your profile and add more pictures or videos of you conducting classes. This will make your profile more appealing.

Q: How do I update my availability?

A: You can login at https://takelessons.com/en-in/login to your profile and go to the “Working Hours” tab to set your working hours.

Q: How do I get a Trust badge on my profile?

A: Once your profile is live, you will get an option to "Complete KYC" on your Dashboard, so as to verify your identity and earn the Trusted Tutor badge - students are more likely to contact tutors with Trust badges! Individual tutors can use their Aadhar number to verify themselves with our trusted third-party vendor. This verification is done with the government database using the government's DigiLocker facility. Please note that TakeLessons IN does not share or reuse your Aadhar/PAN data.
