In this module, you learned how to use Copilot in Excel to move from raw data to meaningful insights.
You started by preparing your data for analysis, including formatting it as a table or supported range and saving your file to OneDrive or SharePoint. From there, you used Copilot to explore your data, generate insights, build formulas, sort and filter values, and create PivotTables.
You also extended your analysis by bringing in more context. Copilot can incorporate information from your organization, such as meetings and emails, as well as external data from the web to help you build more complete and informed analyses.
For more advanced scenarios, you used Copilot in Excel with Python to run statistical analysis and generate forecasts using natural language. This allows you to model trends, test assumptions, and create more sophisticated visualizations without writing code.
When your data spans multiple files, you used the Analyst agent to explore and compare datasets before bringing the relevant data into Excel. This helps you focus your analysis and build your workbook more efficiently.
